JJ had a good breakfast today of some oatibix, toast, banana and grapes. For lunch he had 2 whole crumpets, a big chunk of cheese and some grapes and he loved every mouthful!
Tea tonight was cumberland sausage, mashed potato, cauliflower and carrots which he really enjoyed although he wasn't in a carrot mood tonight! This was followed by some stewed dried apricots which I blended and mixed with natural yogurt. He loved it - I couldn't get it to him quick enough. He is so good with yogurt now - hardly makes any mess (unlike the yogurt explosions when we first started!) he licks it off the spoon and the hands his spoon back for another go. He also likes to try to get it with the spoon himself but he isn't too good....yet! He is actually so much less messy in general than he was - I only realise this when I look back at the (thousands of) old photos!

A whole lot of pasta!!
JJ had quite a good breakfast today - Oatibix are definitely his favourite at the minute.
For lunch JJ had some veggie nuggets (the last of my stash), an apricot, some ham and some tomato. He barely ate a thing - I put this down to his teeth and needing the loo half way through.
He made up for it this tea time though as he munched his way through a mountain of pasta with cheese sauce (I froze a couple of portions of sauce from the last lot I made and it worked really well). He had almost as much as I would eat! He also had a fair bit of broccoli and some carrot. He even licked out the bowl (see the video - so cute). This must be his favourite meal.

2 new tastes and exciting veg box
JJ tried 2 new foods today although it was unplanned. Firstly he got very cross when I was eating my breakfast so I gave him my toast crust which he really enjoyed so had another! Then I gave him a dried apricot becasue a friend said it might help get things moving down below. He sucked away quite contented and like having the whole thing in his mouth - I was so worried but his dad was very chilled out! He looked so funny and kept smiling with a big orange apricot poking out like a 3rd lip - I wish I had taken a picture. He looked quite puzzled by it but I don't think he ate any.
I was very excited today (sad I know) to recieve my first veg box order. It came nice and early and was full of lovely organic veg. So me and hubby had veggie soup for lunch whilst JJ munched on cauli and broccoli. He went straight for the broccoli but got tired very quickly and just mushed everything up! He was messier than ever but the battery ran out on the camera so no funny pictures (sorry Nanna!). I should learn my lesson and not try to feed him until he has had a nap - but I was starving and I like us to eat together.
If anyone out there can suggest anything for JJ's lack of movement down below please let me know!
