Appetite back!

JJ had pasta for lunch on friday but barely ate any Grrrrrr! He seemed to cry when food touched his top gums so I think it might be the teeth finally coming through. He had some sweet potato and veggies for tea and he did have a little bit more.

I was ill Friday night and all day Sturday so I don't really know what JJ ate but he did apparantly eat a bit more which was great. I however ate nothing!!

Today has been a much better day. He had a bigger breakfast of oatibix, toast and grapes.
His nanna and grandad were over for the day and we went out for a lovely Sunday lunch. He was so good and ate lots of everything - he especially liked the purple cabbage, turkey and yorkshire puds. He ate for ages though and we all got a bit bored of waiting!

For tea he had liver and apple casserole with cous cous. He quite enjoyed it and even managed to have it in a bowl on his tray and didn't throw it off!! Normally if we put a bowl near him it gets thrown on the floor. He also played about with his spoons. He had yogurt and banana for pud and a few of this week's favourites...grapes.

It is lovely to have him back on track with his eating and his nose has finally stopped running!!!

Liver - better luck this time!

JJ had a normal breakfasttoday with some watermelon.

For lunch he had philly on toast, yogurt, pear and melon. I came home from work a tlunch today and he was so ecited to see me but was covered in yogurt at the time so I couldn't scoop him up and cuddle him which he wasn't happy about!

Tea was liver cooked in a casserole this time (will put the recipe in the recipe blog soon) and JJ loved it as you can see from the video. He ate lots with mash and veggies followed by fresh raspberries. Yum!

Liver disaster!

JJ ate a bit more for breakfast today - he had weetabix as usual and a few of my cornflakes which he picked up like a pro.

Lunch was french bread toast spread with philly and mashed sardines which he really enjoyed. He had some pear for pudding.

For tea I did JJ some liver with mash and veggies. He isn't a huge meat fan and usually has a quick suck and puts it down. Today however he really liked the liver and sucked away - the only problem was it was tough as old boots!! He couldn't actually eat any. I followed Delia's advice to the letter having never cooked it before but it was horrid so I will casserole the rest tomorrow and try it that way! He had cinnamon apples for pudding which he gobbled up with a smile on his face!
