Carrot pancakes

JJ had breakfast with his dad again and apparently wouldn't touch the shredded wheat - it was oatibix all the way!

Lunch was a new invention of mine - carrot pancakes - they went down a treat spread with soft cheese. Will add them to the recipe blog. They we accompanied by possibly the biggest plum in history.

For tea JJ had a bit of a mixed bag of cow and gate breadsticks and hummus, some chicken, tomato, cucumber, tiger bread, cherries and kiwi. He didn't really eat the fruit though just sucked and spat it out - this is the trick of the week. I am not worried though, he will move onto another bizarre habit soon.

Other news:
He is really good at waving now. He will do it spontaneously rather than just copy. We went into the bedroom today and JJ heard his daddy in the bathroom but couldn't see him and he waved at the door - so cute and clever!

Great piccies... things gone better today with Vincent: ate some broccoli and demolished a toast crust.

Vincent completely ignores mini shredded wheats: how do you do the Oatibixs?

Hi,
I have a bowl of dry oatibix bitesize and a bowl of milk and just dunk one at a time and put it on his tray. He loves to noisily suck the milk out then eat it but it has taken a while for him to really get the hang of eating much breakfast.
Today I gave him regular wheatabix (the big ones) and just broke it up into three or four pieces and dunked it in milk like the minis. He loved it. He is totaly off shredded wheat for now!
